Andy Choi, DPT, SCS, CSCS

Raised on the peninsula, Andy has been a long-time member of the San Mateo community.  Over his 20+ year clinical career as a sports physical therapist, he has had the privilege to work with a wide spectrum of athletes, ranging from professionals, gold-medalist Olympians, All-Americans, first round draft picks, and national champions.

For nearly ten years, he served as a sports physical therapist in the Stanford University athletic department, working with athletes from all 36 varsity sports (his primary assignment was baseball).  He is excited to be able to bring the same high level of care he has provided to elite athletes throughout his career to members of his own community.

In addition to holding a doctorate in physical therapy, he is a board-certified specialist in sports physical therapy (SCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association.  He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Andy has worked with college, Olympic, and professional-level athletes from the following sports:

On your first rehab visit, we will perform an assessment, and come up with a plan of care.  60-90 minutes.
